Ease of setting an appt online, night drop available, called to confirm what I had a problem with, easy text that it was ready. Great customer service at pick up. Showed us to the car and double checked with us that everything worked properly before letting us go. Worth the drive from Bremerton!

I chose this rating because our service advisor was not helpful. We were quoted a price for an oil change, new battery, and trim piece for our tire that needed to be repaired. After the inspection there were items on the report that they suggested in doing and one was brake fluid flush and tire rotation/replacement. All of this was quoted out and individually priced on the new paperwork. Since my husband is not a “car guy” we decided to proceed with the recommendations to keep our vehicle in good condition. I texted the advisor to go ahead based on the recommendations and the prices listed. Fast forward a few days later, the car is ready and I go to look over the invoice to pay and the price jumped up and extra $500. I asked the advisor what the discrepancy was and why didn’t anyone call me to approve this? This is not just $50 or so.. $500 and no one called me? This was not the price I signed for and agreed to. He tried to blame it on the price of the trim but that was not accurate. When comparing the invoice I signed for and the invoice that was given to me THE ADVISOR misquoted the price of the tires. He charged us $50 on the invoice I signed and the actual price was somewhere in the $500s. But whose mistake is that? Someone should have called me to approve this and ask if I wanted to proceed. When my husband went in to discuss the matter, instead of taking accountability of their mistakes, he condescendingly tells my husband, “oh well you know tires really don’t cost $50” but who is the one who posted that on the invoice? Why didn’t anyone call me? What if we wanted a different tire? The point is lack of transparency and accountability. My husband even asked to speak to the manger and he was put to the side with the excuse that “the manger was busy”. So we then said put our old tires back as there was still life on them as this is not what we agreed to pay. We were promised the car in one hour— surprise, we were not given the car in one hour from when we arrived at 11:30, we got the car 30 min from closing at 5:30pm. We felt like they just pushed us off and off due to THEIR mistake. This whole experience was poor and unprofessional.

This was the easiest, most seamless vehicle purchase I have ever made. The entire transaction was handled remotely, so I all I basically had to do when I got to the dealership was hand over the keys for my trade-in and pick up my new car. I will definitely do business with VW of Puyallup again.

Hillary bent over backwards to get my claim with my extended warranty accepted! It was going to be a significant, unexpected amount for a 4 year old vehicle. We spoke almost daily with updates & was so concerned about my needs. Having a loaner car was a lifesaver; something probably not offered by going to a non-dealership mechanic. I am singing Hillary’s praises!
