I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment. The person that had scheduled my visit had neglected to note the car needed an infotainment software update. The advisor checking me in wasn't certain they could get it done, but I was pleased to find about 30 minutes later that they were indeed performing the update. This was started after my oil change and inspection was completed. The SA then advised me they found an additional software update the car needed, and apologized for the extra time it was taking. I have no issues with them performing things that need to be done, and I had planned my time so it was not a problem for me.
